Care Options for Kids (COFK) is proud to announce that Christian Manton, M.S., CCC-SLP, has been named Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Clinical Director for School-Based Services.

As SLP Clinical Director, Manton’s primary role is to support and engage clinicians so they can focus on meeting the needs of the students they serve in schools. In addition, she will support clinicians in district placements and will engage clinicians in professional development and group shares.

A dedicated SLP with 10+ years of experience integrating best practices in clinical and school settings, Manton has a proven track record of success in developing a strategic direction, providing extensive operational support and scaling business opportunities to address customer needs.

For the past two years she served as an SLP at a COFK clinic in Tempe, AZ, administering top-quality speech therapy treatment plans through extensive field service, needs analysis and client management. During that time, she demonstrated leadership skills through her roles as an Onboarding Success Coach, CF Supervisor and Clinical Mentor.

“I am thrilled to join an already exceptional leadership team as Clinical Director of School-Based Services and look forward to supporting our clinicians across the country! I have confidence that as we work together as a team, we will continue to grow our department and have opportunities to empower even more children to access their curriculum and lead their best lives,” adds Manton.

Manton has extensive experience in public education serving pre-K to high school students. Before joining COFK two years ago, she was the SLP Chair at Tempe Elementary School District. As an SLP Coordinator at Legacy Traditional Schools, she spearheaded strategic planning and program implementation, and mentored SLPs and SLPAs for 16 schools across Arizona and Nevada. Manton also served a stint at Mountain View High School, providing evaluations, treatment planning and therapy sessions to 9-12 grade students.

“We’re so excited with the addition of Christian to the SBS team. Her vast experience, knowledge and leadership ability will ensure that our school district partners receive high quality care for the students we serve, and our clinicians receive outstanding support and professional growth opportunities,” adds Felecia Hanesworth, Care Options for Kids Executive Director, School-Based Services.

A member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, Manton earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Communications and a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Arizona State University.
