Palliative Care
Our compassionate nursing professionals provide pain relief and comfort for anyone living with advanced-stage or terminal medical conditions.
Palliative Care to Ease Transitions
When severe conditions progress beyond current medical care plans, our team is available to continue delivering support through expert palliative care. We strive to ensure those under our care and their loved ones can make the most of their time together by helping manage symptoms, improve comfort, and ensure the best possible quality of life.
How We Provide Care
Our team specializes in providing palliative care to individuals in two key ways:
- Disease monitoring - Our team monitors disease progression and collaborates with physicians to tailor a care plan that prioritizes comfort and emotional health.
- Symptom management - As conditions progress, our healthcare professionals work to manage new and changing symptoms, helping to alleviate pain and stress.
The 5 Stages of Palliative Care
From companionship and assistance with daily activities to respite care, we empower our care team to provide a variety of therapy techniques and services at every stage of an individual's condition. Palliative care often falls into five stages, which consist of creating a plan, preparing emotionally, delivering early and late-stage care, and providing bereavement support for loved ones. Throughout all of these stages, we provide support in the form of:
- Pain management
- Medication assistance
- Physical therapy
- Movement and repositioning
- Emotional and mental health support
- Hygiene and toileting assistance
- Grief support
