Care Options for Kids (COFK) is proud to announce that Darinisha Williams, PsyD, NCSP, has been named School Psychologist Clinical Director for School-Based Services.
As a licensed school psychologist with over eight years of experience, Williams currently serves as Adjunct Professor at California State University, lecturing at the College of Education within the Division of Special Education and Counseling. In addition, Williams served the Milpitas Unified School District, EdTheory and Maxim, providing a full range of virtual and in-person psychological services to children in grades K-12.
Her primary role as School Psychologist Clinical Director is to support and engage clinicians so they can focus on meeting the needs of the students they serve in schools. In addition, she will support clinicians in district placements and will engage clinicians in professional development and group shares.
Williams specializes in cognitive, academic and behavioral assessments, as well as consultation and behavior management. Her expertise also extends to social-emotional learning, mental health provider counseling, and relationship building. She has a strong track record of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in educational settings and the broader community.

Williams earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Alcorn State University and a Master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in School Psychology. She received her Psy.D in Educational Psychology from Alliant International University.
