Care Options for Kids (COFK) is proud to announce that Robert Scharff has been named Executive Vice President, Revenue Cycle.
With 18 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle management and payer contracting, Scharff joins the COFK team from BAYADA Home Health Care.
As the Division Director of Revenue Cycle Services at BAYADA, Scharff was responsible for overseeing the centralized revenue cycle operations comprising approximately 300 employees, while providing patient access and reimbursement-related services. He supported the national operations of eight specialty practices that operated throughout 24 states, including home health, hospice, private duty nursing and personal care services. Scharff also served on several internal and external committees supporting initiatives relating to healthcare regulation, compliance, technology and revenue cycle education.

Prior to BAYADA, Scharff served as Vice President/Director of Reimbursement Services at Fox Rehabilitation Services, a geriatric house-call therapy practice. He managed multiple divisions focusing on business operations, contracting and revenue cycle management that supported the daily financial operations and the growth of the organization.
Scharff earned his Bachelor’s Degree from East Carolina University and has also been an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
