We had a fantastic Spring CE event on Wednesday night! We hosted our very own Jane and she treated us to an informative 2 hours on everyone's favorite phoneme, the /r/. Time was spent reviewing the basic principles of /r/ intervention, as well as looking at and problem solving with videos from our own clinicians.

We also took time before the event to assemble Welcome Boxes for kids entering foster care. This project, facilitated by Embrace Oregon, provides a small box of goodies to children entering foster care as they await their placement. Embrace Oregon says, "Since many children enter their new foster homes with very few belongings, the psychological importance of owning nice possessions cannot be underestimated." We're so pleased to have been able to help with this project!
