10 year

This year, 2015, marks 10 years since the inception of Care Options for Kids, formerly The Hello Foundation. I know, right? It's hard for us to believe, too. The feeling is akin to looking at your child on their birthday and having the realization that they're no longer a baby -- you of course know that you're not getting up every 2 hours for feedings and diaper changes anymore, but it takes seeing all of the candles on the cake to really bring it into focus.

Over the years, we've had more parties than we can count -- clinician parties, family parties, kid parties, dress-up parties, holiday parties, theme parties, end-of-year parties . . . we are, as they say, a party people. So imagine our delight at the prospect of a year-long celebration of where we've been, where we are, and where we're going. We're positively giddy.

The most exciting part of all of this? We get to share it with YOU. No matter who you are -- SLP, School Administrator, or anyone else under the sun -- we're going to jump to the conclusion that by being here, reading this, you share Our Why. You share our core values of Putting Kids First, Providing High Quality Service, Practicing Work/Life Balance, and Giving. You share our commitment to every kid, everywhere. And you know what that means? It means we're family.

We hope that you'll join us in the coming year, gathering in real close and violating one another's personal space like good family members do, to reflect on the journey that has brought us here and the one that continues to unfold. And, of course, to celebrate.
