We are a company of diverse political opinions. We strive to be respectful of everyone's perspective.
But I will not stand silently by as children of any group are intentionally targeted. Our first core value is to Put Kids First.
And as the owner and CEO, that means we act in the best interest of kids. All kids. We do not pick and choose based on ability, ethnicity, or address.
We are mandatory reporters in observed times of need; we are advocates for the capabilities of children with disabilities, we are supporters of kids striving to grow and stretch and make their dreams come true.
I stand firm in my support of putting all kids first, regardless of their parents or family members making choices with which I may or may not agree.
And this is who our DACA young people are: young children growing into competent and skilled young adults.
Why be so passionate for the most vulnerable in our world? Nelson Mandela said it best, "There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children."
Putting kids first, every single one of them, is a reflection of my soul and that of this company.
