Happy 2016! While it at present it may feel like this will be the Winter Break That Will Never End, time is indeed passing and we’re eagerly planning for the coming months.
We are particularly excited to be rolling out progress notes! Our clients will always have the option of talking with their therapist after every session, but we will now also be sharing quarterly written progress notes as well. This will give everyone an opportunity to see goals and progress in black and white, and will also offer a chance to discuss what is and is not working in therapy.
The dawn of this new year marked the beginning of Jolene’s official retirement from the practice. She has devoted years to the service of families and clinicians and her presence in the office will be missed by many. We are thankful that she has taken these last several months to share her tricks and hints with Renee and Jenny, and we wish her all the best as she and Bob take the next steps on their retirement journey.
And speaking of Bob and retirement . . . January has brought changes for him as well. He has reduced his schedule, now seeing clients one day a week and supporting our other clinicians two days a week. He will maintain this schedule until the end of March when he and Jolene officially ride off into the sunset ;-) We’ll be hosting a super fun family-friendly retirement party before they leave, so stay tuned for details!
As always, we are very grateful for your understanding and patience with the ongoing changes and transition. We’re looking forward to a fun year ahead, full of growth and positive developments for each of our clients (and ourselves!). Have questions? Give us a call, drop us a line, or stop by for a chat. We’d love to hear what’s on your mind!
