We first published our white paper, 4 Leadership Decisions to Help SLPs Decrease Caseload Size, seven years ago at a time when we were relatively new to sharing our big ideas about special education. While some of our posts from back then look rather dated in 2020 (using iPads in therapy, anyone?), SLP caseload and workload are topics that are seemingly eternal. This white paper was a perfect candidate for an update because, while the subject matter is still as relevant as it has ever been, we felt like we could make some improvements so that the information was more actionable for school administrators. In this new version, you'll find a Putting Theory into Practice section for each of the leadership decisions we outline, as well as a completely revised references section to help you continue your learning on the topic.
